On the presence of Prolagurus and Allophaiomys in the Dacic Basin

A 425 m borehole, located at Fierbinti-Targ in the eastern area of the Dacic Basin, has yielded from a depth between 247.0-247.5 m below surface a molluscan fauna without stratigraphical significance in association with a few rodent remains indicating the presence of Prolagurus pannonicus (Kormos) and Allophaiomys cf. pliocaenicus Kormos.
