Article: 35 species of cavernicolous Oniscidea inhabit the caves of Romania. A remarkable aspect of the oniscidean fauna is the high number of endemic species. The endemic species of Oniscidea from Romania form two groups: Carpathian endemites and Dobrogean endemites.
